  24. towards topics on Lightwave.  Messages really meant as private e-mail
  25. should be directed to that person's internet address rather than the list.
  26. Also, please use proper netiquette.  Not everyone enjoys messages that
  27. have previous messages quoted verbatim.  Not everyone has 132 column
  28. terminals.  Please don't feel there's too many restrictions though.  This
  29. mailing list is meant for exchange of information.

  31. Also keep in mind that your replies go directly to the author of the message
  32. you are replying to.  If you wish to have the reply directed to the mailing
  33. list, you should use your e-mail software to change the address that the
  34. message is going to rather than adding the mailing list in the cc: field
  35. (carbon copy).  By including it in the cc: field, the author of the message
  36. that you are replying to will get TWO copies of the message.

  59. comp.graphics.packages.lightwave.  Currently, this newsgroup's messages
  60. aren't being archived in an automatic way (if you are archiving them
  61. automatically, please let me know!).  Hopefully, I'll have a newsgroup
  62. gateway into the mailing list so those on the mailing list that don't
  63. have access to Usenet can participate in the newsgroup.

  112. that contains a growing number of Lightwave oriented files (objects, 
  113. scenes, framestores, ARexx macros and much more).  The Lightwave mailing
  114. list message archives can also be found there.

  118. For those of you who can use Mosaic, Keith Christopher has also set up
  119. a nice Lightwave oriented Mosaic site at http://tomahawk.welch.jhu.edu/.

  121. Looking for even more 3D Objects?  avalon.chinalake.navy.mil has a large
  122. collection of 3D objects in various file formats.  Lightwave can directly
  123. import some of them while others may need converting first via third
  124. party object conversion programs like InterChange Plus and Pixel3D Pro.
